Join us for a 3-week long, intermediate wheel dinnerware course at Meld. This class is best suited for folks who are comfortable centering and pulling walls, and would like to learn about making sets and repeated forms with an instructor.
We will focus on throwing and trimming three forms: bowls, plates, and cups/mugs. Students will be working on the wheel for all three weeks.
At the end of the 3 weeks, students will have the option to continue for a 4-week glazing fundamentals class, or finish their own pieces as a member.
Meld Members can purchase this class for 3 additional wheel sessions, or you can pause your membership for the month of August and take this class instead.

Clay will be provided for each participant to make a set of 4 pieces for each item.
Our series classes run small, with a maximum of 6 participants to 1 instructor, to ensure that each student receives personalized instruction, advice, and guidance specifically geared toward your personal needs and areas of improvement. Our goal is to build your foundational techniques and your confidence at the same time, so that you can continue to practice and grow in what is often a very humbling craft!
Schedule
This class will meet from 6:30pm - 9:30pm on the following dates. Instruction time will begin at 6:30pm and end at 9pm, and guided clean up will occur from 9pm - 9:30pm.
