Father's Day Fish Cup Decoration Workshop | Sunday, June 21, 2026

We're pairing the current cultural fish phenomenon with the upcoming Father's Day to bring you a delightfully fishy workshop. Jump into the pottery process by customizing your very own ceramic fish tumbler, or decorate it however you'd like!

A pre-thrown cup or to-go tumbler will be provided for each participant, and our talented instructor will guide you through the process of stenciling, carving, and glaze choices. Don't worry if you don't think you're artistic - we'll have stencils and designs for you to choose from (though of course you're welcome to draw your own!) Before your leave, you'll choose your glaze from our extensive studio collection — dozens of glazes, colors, and finishes to choose from! — and we will glaze and fire your piece for you! Your fully finished piece will be ready to pick up approximately 4 weeks after the event.

Want to glaze your own piece instead of having an instructor glaze it for you? Feel free to register for a glazing session 3 or more weeks after your workshop to come back and glaze it yourself. This is a great option for folks who have intricate glazing designs in mind or who want to learn about the glazing part of the process. No worries if you can't or don't want to come back - your ticket includes an instructor glazing your piece for you!

No experience is necessary, both beginners and experts alike are welcome! All supplies needed for this experience will be provided by Meld, so all you need to bring is yourself and your creativity. We'll have an experienced ceramicist to lead you on your journey. Be sure to arrive on time to ensure you have ample time to create your piece.
