Handbuilding Little Critters Workshop | Wednesday, June 10, 2026

Join us for a fun handbuilding little critters workshop at Meld! We'll cover all the basics to get you pinching your own set of garden buddies or desk friends — from a lump of clay in a bag through to a finished piece you can enjoy for years to come.

Each class participant will receive enough clay to make a several small critters. The workshop will include 2 hours of instructional time and all the tools and firings needed to create and finish your pieces.

Want to decorate your own piece instead of having an instructor glaze it for you? Feel free to register for a glazing session 2 or more weeks after your workshop to come back and glaze it yourself. This is a great option for folks who have intricate glazing designs in mind or who want to learn about the glazing part of the process. No worries if you can't or don't want to come back - your ticket includes an instructor glazing your piece for you!

Finished pieces will be available approximately 3-4 weeks after the workshop date.

Come as you are. We recognize that different brains and different bodies come with unique strengths and limitations, and we'll work with you to find techniques that work for your mind and your body. Pottery is for all bodies and we're proud of our vibrant and supportive community. Hate has no place in our studio.
