Handbuilding Wall-Mounted Vase Workshop | Sunday, September 13, 2026

Join us to make a ceramic wall-hanging bud vase from scratch at Meld! We'll cover all the basics of handbuilding with slabs to make a hanging vessel for your flowers, mail, or anything you'd like. After making your custom base, we'll show you how to make and attach shapes for decoration or sculpt adornments to decorate your piece.

The workshop includes 3 hours of instructional time and all the tools and firings needed to create your piece.

Instructor glazing is included in your ticket for a single color. If you'd like to decorate and glaze your piece with more detail, you can register for a glazing session dated 2 or more weeks after your workshop to come back and glaze it yourself. This is a great option for folks who have intricate glazing designs in mind or who want to learn about the glazing part of the process.

Finished pieces will be available approximately 3-4 weeks after the workshop date.

Tickets are non-refundable if cancelled within 72 hours of the event. However, we'd be happy to transfer your tickets to a friend for you!
