Join our members-only wheel workshop and learn to throw mini ceramic pieces from instructor Amanda Hartung! This is a single session workshop with two hours of instruction.
Note: This workshop is only available to our members. Contact us separately if you are interested in a membership!
Best for: all skill levels.
Skills covered: throwing small; wet trimming with a wooden knife tool; throwing off-the-hump.
Clay: Feel free to use your own monthly clay, or use our studio's reclaimed clay.
Schedule: 6:00-6:30PM preparing and wedging clay. 6:30-8:30PM throwing demonstrations and instructor guidance. 8:30-9:00PM clean up.
Sliding scale pricing: Pay what you can. We want member workshops to be accessible - if you’d like to participate but need an accommodation, please let us know via email!
Members are encouraged to trim and glaze their resulting pieces during their normal studio hours.
Tickets are non-refundable if cancelled within 72 hours of the event. However, feel free to transfer your ticket to another member, or visit us during wheel office hours to give it a try!
