Want to make your own to-go cup? Join our intermediate wheel workshop and learn to throw a travel tumbler cup with 1-2 lbs of clay from instructor Amanda Hartung! This is a single session workshop with two hours of instruction.
Note: This is a Members Only event for ceramicists at Meld Maker Studio. Contact us separately if you are interested in a membership!
Skills covered: tall cylinders, folding over an edge, sizing with calipers
Schedule: 6:30-7PM preparing and wedging clay. 7-9PM throwing demonstrations and instructor guidance.
Sliding scale pricing: If you are a member using your monthly clay allotment, feel free to choose a lower price tier. If you need us to provide you with extra clay, please choose a higher price tier as you are able. We want member workshops to be accessible - if you’d like to participate but need an accommodation, let us know via email!
Members may trim and glaze pieces on their own time after the workshop.
Tickets are non-refundable if cancelled within 72 hours of the event.
