Moth Mug Workshop | Sunday, October 2026

Are you drawn to the light like a moth? Come sculpt a winged moth buddy, and place them onto a pre-thrown mug! Skip right over the caterpillar stage and celebrate the charming, fuzzy, beautiful and eerie moth! Did you know that the second largest insect order is Lepidoptera? They represent 8.6% of all living organisms! Get inspired by Death's-heads, hawk, emperor, silk, tiger and many more moths. You can even add a handle shaped just for your hand.

We'll finish your piece with the glaze of your choice, but if you want to create custom colors for your friend, register for a glazing session dated 2 or more weeks after your workshop and bring your moth to life! 

Your finished piece will be available approximately 4 weeks after the workshop date, or about 2 weeks after your glazing session.

Come as you are. We recognize that different brains and different bodies come with unique strengths and limitations, and we'll work with you to find techniques that work for your mind and your body. Pottery is for all bodies and we're proud of our vibrant and supportive community. Hate has no place in our studio.
