Ovenbird x Meld Paint-Your-Own-Pottery Workshop | Planty Edition | Friday, April 3, 2026

We're back at it again during Highlandtown's April First Friday at Ovenbird Bakery (the Highlandtown location)! We're leaning into the springtime vibes and bringing all things planty. Ovenbird's bar and kitchen will be open and serving until 7pm, so come ready to sip and snack as you glaze something that will get you in the springtime mood!

No experience is necessary, both beginners and experts alike are welcome! All supplies needed for this experience will be provided by Meld, so all you need to bring is yourself and your creativity. We'll have every color of glaze you can think of and an experienced ceramicist to lead you on your journey. Be sure to arrive on time to ensure you have ample time to finish your piece.

After the event, we'll bring your pieces back to Meld's Highlandtown studio, dip them in clear glaze, fire them in our kiln, and email you when they're ready for pickup - typically in 2-3 weeks. 

Note that these Paint-Your-Own-Pottery pieces are made from different clay than the rest of the wares you see on our website. With that in mind, it is best to hand wash your finished piece to ensure its longevity.
