Give your garden some sparkle! Join us as we make a set of custom garden stakes. These ceramic beauties are all-weather hardy, so they'll hold up beautifully whether they're in your home or outside in your garden.
We'll be starting with a slab of clay, and we'll guide you through shaping, glazing, stamping, and embellishing your plant markers in this 2.5 hour workshop. After you leave, we will fire your pieces, cover them in a clear gloss glaze, and then fire them once more. Your fully finished set will be ready to pick up approximately 3 weeks after the event.
No experience is necessary, both beginners and experts alike are welcome! All supplies needed for this experience will be provided by Meld, so all you need to bring is yourself and your creativity. We'll have an experienced ceramicist to lead you on your journey. Be sure to arrive on time to ensure you have ample time to create your piece.
Please note that there will be sharp tools in use (specifically, pottery knives) during this workshop. For this reason, we recommend children 13 years old or younger join us for a different workshop.
