Soap Dish Handbuilding Workshop | Saturday, July 11, 2026

Make your own hand soap dish at Meld! In this beginner friendly class we will guide you through handbuilding basics with clay, including slip & score attachments and carving surface designs. Bring your inspo and we'll help make it come it life!

Each class participant will make one soap dish. The workshop will include 2 hours of instructional time and all the tools and firings needed to create and finish your pieces.

Want to decorate your own piece instead of having an instructor glaze it for you? Feel free to register for a glazing session 2 or more weeks after your workshop to come back and glaze it yourself. This is a great option for folks who have intricate glazing designs in mind or who want to learn about the glazing part of the process. No worries if you can't or don't want to come back - your ticket includes a staff member glazing your piece for you!

Finished pieces will be available approximately 4 weeks after the workshop date.

Come as you are. We recognize that different brains and different bodies come with unique strengths and limitations, and we'll work with you to find techniques that work for your mind and your body. Pottery is for all bodies and we're proud of our vibrant and supportive community. Hate has no place in our studio.
