New studio special! Only $375 for our early 2026 class!
Join us for an 8-week long, beginner-friendly, all-inclusive wheel-throwing course at Meld. We'll cover all the basics to get you started — from a lump of clay in a bag through to a finished piece you can eat off of, drink out of, admire, use daily, and enjoy for years to come.
Each class participant will receive 25 pounds of a smooth-throwing clay, 2.5 hours of instructional time per week, a built-in make-up day at the end of the session (because life happens), and all the tools, glaze, and firings needed to create and finish your pieces end-to-end. Folks are typically able to finish 8-12 pieces per course, depending on the size of the pieces.
Our series classes run small, with a maximum of 5 participants to 1 instructor, to ensure that each student receives personalized instruction, advice, and guidance specifically geared toward your personal needs and areas of improvement. Our goal is to build your foundational techniques and your confidence at the same time, so that you can continue to practice and grow in what is often a very humbling craft!
Come as you are. We recognize that different brains and different bodies come with unique strengths and limitations, and we'll work with you to find techniques that work for your mind and your body. Pottery is for all bodies and we're proud of our vibrant and supportive community. Hate has no place in our studio.

This class will meet from 5pm - 8pm on the following dates. Instruction time will begin at 5pm and end at 7:30pm, and guided clean up will occur from 7:30pm - 8pm.
